If someone was designing a reality show version of high school, this is what it would be like. "Can these high schoolers get 100 followers in time? Watch to find out!" But these kids have likely been watching this stuff their whole lives and don't know that in the real world, your teacher shouldn't be setting you up with stunts you might see on YouTube: "Watch these privileged teenagers clean a disgusting bathroom! The catch? One complaint and they fail!! Like, follow, and subscribe for more!" "Watch Jimmy's heart rate as he listens to his parents' criticism--will he stay calm? Or will he loose his cool?"

The thing is, kid, life isn't actually reality TV, and you're supposed to opt in for challenges like this. It's not supposed to be something your teacher makes you do. But then, you don't have teachers. You have something between a camp counselor and a motivational coach. So I guess that tracks.

Thanks for all the work that went into this.

The other thing that comes through is just how heavily the school leans into a message of "You are so much better than the common herd out there."
